It is with much sadness that the family of Gerald Perry Paulson announces his passing on March 13, 2024, in his home (Edson, Alberta) with his boys by his side.

Gerald was born on August 2, 1950, to Kathleen & Ernest Paulson, in Athabasca, Alberta. He was raised in Riley and Niton Junction, Alberta, and attended school in Niton Junction. He then went on to complete is Journeyman ticket in welding.

In 1970, he met Valerie Haggart, they wed in August 1974 and had two children, Trevor and Mark.

Gerald enjoyed his outdoor activities of hunting, fishing, and shooting his guns was his passion.
