Danica Hills passed away suddenly at the age of 18 years. She was a Grade 12 student at Harry Colling High School who was looking forward to attending the University of Alberta this fall for Engineering. She was an academic and sports enthusiast who could always be found on the court, in the rink or studying for the next big test. In this her senior year of High School, she was honored to be Captain of both the Senior Girls Volleyball and Basketball teams (HCHS Rockies) and Assistant Captain on her Hockey Team (Jasper Bearcats). When not playing sports, she could be found with fishing rod in hand ready for the next big catch.
Danica will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Randy and Lindi Hills; her siblings Teagan Hills (Rowen Pillai), Makena Hills and Caisen Hills; her Grandparents Ray and Julie Hills and Ambrose and Laverne Rutledge; her Aunts & Uncles; 17 cousins; and other family, friends, teachers, coaches and everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.
We would like to thank family, friends and the community for the love and support we have received.
